Common email signature problems to check for
Images showing as attachments
If your logo or photo uses a local file path or a data URI, most email clients will show it as an attachment. Always host images on a CDN with an https:// URL.
Broken layout in Outlook
Outlook uses Microsoft Word to render HTML. This means flexbox, CSS grid, and modern CSS won't work. Use HTML tables with inline styles instead.
Missing social icons
Social media icons often break when they're loaded from external services that get blocked by email security filters. Use CDN-hosted images with explicit width and height attributes.
Text too small on mobile
Email signatures that look perfect on desktop can be unreadable on mobile. Use a minimum font size of 13px and keep the total width under 600px.
Skip the hassle — create a signature that just works
SendSignatures builds email signatures using HTML tables with inline styles and CDN-hosted images — the only approach that works perfectly in Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and mobile.
